Wooden anti-glare panels are used to establish road safety barriers that protect both people as well as animals from glare by vehicles in motion. Following acoustic testing it turned out that they are also efficient at noise protection, making them effective noise-insulation panels.<\/p>

The product is made out of coniferous wood, it must hence conform to the following requirements:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Strength glass: conforming to C24<\/li>
  • Wood flaws: medium class<\/li>
  • Board thickness: 18 mm to 50 mm, connected using the tongue and groove system.<\/li>
  • The wood is pressure-impregnated up to class 4.<\/li>
  • No cracks exceeding the requirements specified for medium class wood according to PN-D-94021:2013<\/li>
  • Knots in accordance with PN-D-94021:2013, knotting and filling of boards allowed<\/li>
  • Fiber twist \u2013 not more than 5%<\/li>
  • Blue stain: permissible, disappearing when planing, other forms and types of fungal infection not permissible<\/li>
  • Humidity \u2013 approx. 23% according to PN-D-94021:2013 in an air-dry state (Material moisture in an air-dry state is a state of balance that is established over a longer period of time under normal operation conditions)<\/li>
  • Height of a single board min. 100 mm<\/li>
  • Vertical timbers adapted to supporting columns<\/li>
  • Panel height: adapted to the height of the screens.<\/li><\/ul>

    Protection with pressure impregnation with Wolmanit CX-10 before:<\/strong><\/p>
